Case Study
Objective
Thailand’s economy has long been rooted in agriculture, yet Thai farmers remain among the lowest-income earners in the country. Much of this is due to structural inefficiencies, middlemen in the supply chain, and limited access for the general public to participate in or support the agricultural sector.
CoFarm is a mobile application designed to empower farmers and reconnect the public with agriculture. By enabling direct transactions, on-demand farm visits, and virtual farming experiences, CoFarm aims to make agriculture more accessible, transparent, and sustainable — for everyone.
Process
Approach: See – Think – Make
See -> Research
In this phase, I conducted primary researches on general users and business owners. The research goal is to understand public perception of agriculture and agritourism in Thailand, as well as challenges faced by agritourism providers.
Research methods:
Survey (116 responses): To gather insights into public awareness and interest
In-depth Interviews (4 participants): With agritourism operators and business owners
Think -> Co-creation workshop
Is this phase, participants from both sides — consumers and producers — joined a design workshop to ideate and define potential solutions.
Make -> Design
I translated insights from the previous phases into actionable solutions by mapping user journeys and defining clear user flows. From there, I followed a full mobile app design process:
Information Architecture
Sketches & Wireframes
Low-Fidelity Prototypes
High-Fidelity UI Design
Outcome
CoFarm redefines how the public connects with agriculture in Thailand. It promotes sustainable tourism, supports local farmers, and unlocks new ways for people to engage with the land — both physically and digitally.

Standout Features
Visit a Farm
Browse and book real farm experiences through the app
Rent a Farm
Support local farmers by virtually renting a farm plot and participating in the agricultural process
This experience gives users flexible access — without the need to travel or change their lifestyle — while farmers gain visibility, income, and support from a wider audience.
